‘Gather in Pingshan’ service measures for returning overseas talents

Pingshan District’s “Gather in Pingshan Plan” consists of 22 service measures for returning overseas talents. Rolled out in September 2022, the plan covers five major areas: personnel policy services, entrepreneurship, employment, social networking and public welfare. For example, services for returning overseas talents include a human resources agency and household registration for talents who meet the city and district talent policies’ requirements. The plan also offers entrepreneurship services, including mentorship support, project recommendation and assistance, and subsidies for small and micro companies that meet the requirements of Pingshan’s industrial development to transform into enterprises above designated size.

Regular social networking activities are held at hobby clubs established for returning overseas talents. Innovative industrial companies founded by returning overseas talents that comply with relevant policies can be offered housing and rental subsidies. A number of high-quality public housing apartments have also been planned for returning overseas talents who are eligible for housing according to policies.

Housing for high-end talents

According to the city’s housing measures for talents and Pingshan’s talent policies, the district housing center provides rental-free housing for eligible high-end talents. To attract more high-end talents to join in the development of Pingshan, some housing resources (including two-bedroom, three-bedroom and four-bedroom apartments) have been reserved for allocation to high-end talents in the district, allowing the housing policy to benefit more talents and help businesses attract and retain talents.

Shenzhen Foreigner’s Work Permit Pingshan Station

The Shenzhen Foreigner’s Work Permit Pingshan Station is located in the Pingshan District Administrative Service Hall. It is the first foreigner’s work permit station established at the district level. After companies in Pingshan submit their foreigner staff members’ work permit materials to the Foreigner’s Work Management Service System, and if the materials are complete and meet the standards, the applicants will be notified to come to the Shenzhen Foreigner’s Work Permit Pingshan Station for material verification. The on-site service combined with online processing enables one-stop processing in Pingshan.
